Hispanic foods + sprouts

by Olivia Wong

We admit that sprouts aren't on the top of the list when it comes to Hispanic foods. Pepito is here to remind you that sprouts can go on any foods!

Here are a few ways you can add sprouts to Hispanic dishes:

1. top tacos with sprouts

2. mix sprouts into picadillo

3. top ceviche with sprouts

4. fill empanadas with our Crunchy Mix or Sprouted Garbanzo Beans (an easy meat substitute)

5. top a bandeja paisa or churrasco with sprouts

6. mix sprouts into arroz con gandules, arroz con habichuelas, gallo pinto or frijoles negros

7. add sprouts to carne guisada

Sprouts are best eaten raw so add them just before serving (except for the empanadas.)

What are other ways you incorporate sprouts into your Hispanic meals?

Buen provecho!
