Pizza is fun to make because you can mix and match ingredients to your liking. For example, if you're not a fan of pesto (wait until you try this recipe,) you can use tomato sauce instead. Add other veggies to your liking, just be sure to add the sprouts after it's cooked for maximum nutritional value as heat and sprouts aren't a good match.
This is a double whammy broccoli sprout pizza! Broccoli sprouts are in the pesto sauce and also on the pizza.
Another fun fact is that you don't necessarily have to use pizza crust. We cheated here and used a chalupa. You can also use naan, flatbread or focaccia bread.
This is a quick and easy recipe that kids of all ages will enjoy making.
